			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have spent a tremendous time upgrading <a href="http://www.unity3dx.com/index.php/products/earth-3d-for-unity-v3/" title="Earth 3D">Earth 3D</a> so that it will stay one of the best real time <a href="http://www.unity3dx.com/index.php/products/earth-3d-for-unity-v3/" title="Earth 3D">Earth 3D</a> representation money can buy.<br />
Many improvements have been developed, here is a short list:</p>
<p>- complete rewrite of the shaders using surface shaders.<br />
- 3 new shaders for Atmosphere, Clouds and Ground.<br />
- new simple editor, that connects the 3 shaders and calculates the right values for each shaders without having to tweak them separately<br />
- clouds and ground now have normal mapping.<br />
- new atmosphere shader offering better control and flexibility. It is possible to make any kind of halo, for even the most extreme large atmospheres.<br />
- faster: the shaders have been optimized.</p>
<p>I have not tested them on iPhone and Android but they are Shader 2.0 compatible so they should work on these devices as well!</p>

I wanted something more flexible, more easy to deploy, faster and globally more fun. I got rid of the physics, as we all know that everything is possible in the universe, and I just focused on getting a WOW result for use in any games including mobile phone.</p>

<p>This is a sneak peak of the new shader for Unity Indies that I am working on. This shader is a new one, it is not based on the <a href="http://www.unity3dx.com/products/product-free3docean/" title="Ocean">Ocean</a> shader that I released before, even if some tweaks are still here like the way I used the caustics for example.<br />
This shader is based on displacement map, but it creates the displacement in the shader, so there is no need to pre-calculate it.<br />
It also uses several tweaks to make the light of the <a href="http://www.unity3dx.com/products/smart-water-for-indies-and-pro/" title="Smart Water">water</a> changing (mixing several animated textures together and fade from one to another.<br />
There is fresnel and a fake reflection effect on the fresnel.<br />
The foam is faked to it is another tweak found by accident when I was working on the sun reflection on the <a href="http://www.unity3dx.com/products/smart-water-for-indies-and-pro/" title="Smart Water">water</a>.<br />
There is a lot to say about this Shader because I can make a lot of different variation of <a href="http://www.unity3dx.com/products/smart-water-for-indies-and-pro/" title="Smart Water">Water</a>. I will expose these in another video later.</p>
